The endemic forget-me-not (Myosotis uniflora) is a perennial herb forming dark green compact rounded cushions up to 100mm in diameter. Stems are 10-50mm long and closely packed. Leaves are tiny, about 0.5 mm long and fringed with long hairs. Yellow-white flowering branchlets that don’t project above the cushion. Very distinct and unlikely to be confused with other Myosotis, and unique in its preference for stony river beds.
